The Perfect Approach (for a foreigner)
And now the good part! Rules differ whether you’re a local or foreigner. The good news for you is, the foreigners have it easy! Look, anything will work.
Here are some simple openers to use, early and often:
- We’re not from here – can you recommend a restaurant (pub / club)?
- Can you tell me how to get to the main square?
- Hey I need your opinion.., people here seem XXXX… is that true?
- Hey can you take me & my friend’s picture?
If you are saying to yourself, “These are lame! They’ll never work!”, just consider this. When you speak to a local (saying ANYTHING), you’ve piqued their curiosity. Who is this guy? Where is he from? Why is he here? Girls LOVE mysteries, and you’ve broken the ice with one. Trust us, if you open 10 girls a day, you can hook up with at least half. You’re foreign man, it’s like being a mini-celebrity!
Now, we’ve covered the fact that content isn’t all that important in your opener, agreed? But within a minute, the questions will come. Without going into Gaming yet, be ready for a quick question to your openers, and be able to merge into gaming using more curiosity-amping statements….let’s look at an example:
- You: Can you tell me how to get to the main square?
- Her: It’s that way (pointing)
- You: OK, thanks. I get so lost here, I’ve only been in town 4 hours & I’m constantly turned around!
- Her: (smiling / giggling) – where are you from?
- The Gaming Begins
It really is that easy, guys. Be talkative, mysterious, and she’ll open you.
Remember, you’ll never see these girls again after you leave… so there is absolutely NO excuse for not opening several girls each day / night.
