Planning Your Hunts
When on location in various European countries, the next crucial step is to actually figure out your hunting grounds! Do you target business women?
Fellow tourists? Local college girls? Or just any bird?!
If you want to target travelers, definitely stay at a hostel. Even if you can afford better accommodations. Most hostels these days offer private rooms, with access to shared facilities. Many times you can easily make drinking buddies in these hostels, and since you’re staying in the same place at the end of the night, the only thing needed is your game!
College girls tend to go to a few select clubs. Early evenings they might be scattered throughout the cities in pubs, restaurants, etc. But when midnight strikes, you’ll see them gathering in the “hot” clubs. Find out 3-5 of these clubs on day 1! You’ll need to write them down & keep them in your wallet…..just in case you’re wandering around at 1am, you can ask a local for directions & be in a good scene in no time. Sure beats randomly selecting places & just hoping it’s good. Find these out through travel sites like virtualtourist.com, or ideally, any young staff at the hostel. Be skeptical with restaurant recommendations from staff anywhere (often they get a cut), but club advice tends to be right on, assuming they like you!
Business class women will be in the nicer hotel bars, and the surrounding cocktail clubs. During the day on weekends, you might hang around opera houses, theatres, or famous artistic attractions – galleries & exhibitions.
With planning, have an idea what you will do in early evening, and late at night. It should never happen that midnight strikes & you and your mates start looking at each other & say “Where to now?”. You should know where you’re going before even getting dressed! Would you dress the same in a techno club as a cocktail lounge? Figure out your destinations at dinner time. It’s a good bonding moment & an excellent time to figure out the night’s activities.
Of course be flexible later, but have an idea at least about the scene you want to find yourselves in.
Do you know what style of pickup you’ll use? This is a HUGE question! Don’t use the same method in Paris as you do in Warsaw. Read up on each culture you’ll be in. Learn a couple cute phrases if possible. Know the taboos & turn- ons. You’ll be way ahead of the foreign tourist crowd if you do your homework.
Be practical. Do you know how you’ll get home at 3am? Do the night buses / trams still run? Are taxi’s safe & reasonably priced? Figure this out early… before you start drinking! If possible, have a small map folded into your pocket, with your hostel marked on it. Make it “drunk-readable”. Haha
